  1. Do the research, though.  It seems that there are an awful lot of people go to Spain, thinking they can make a living, opening their own business, but if they don´t do the research, make sure they really know how much they need to have, earn monthly, etc., they wind up bust too quickly, and then have nothing left to show for it.

  2. do you want to open a English nursery or a Spanish one?

English nurseries are in high demand in some choice places (mainly on the Mediterranean coast) i live in Javea a very beautiful town near Denia. we already have 3 English nurseries, so you could always move to a place with lots of nurseries work in them while you save money and get to know the area and then set up your own business. don't move here and set up a business straight away, plenty of people do this and just as many fail and they run out of money and have to go home because they did not no the area properly to run a successful business (just a warning).

You also need to give yourself time to get the right permitts and to rent/buy a suitable location for the nursery. there are plenty of very good English school for your children to attend (though if they are young i would recommend putting them straight into Spanish school, 1 its free :D 2. they pick up the language so fast and the culture, i really wish my parents had put me into Spanish school but they didnt. but i got a Spanish boyfriend within a year of being in Spain so i mainly mixed with the Spanish anyway) it is an amazing place to live. you should move to the Mediterranean coast though, it has sun beaches, great night life, very family related atmoshphere, it has the most English schools and people, so when you first move you dont feel isolated, you can still make friends and learn Spanish. if you want any more advice or help i would be happy to help you. just email me. good luck
