  1. All you have to do is to be able to read English.Look at the screen

  2. yeah just look for the screen that says depatures and find your destination, there should be a screen on every platform. Be careful thou, you need to find out where the train terminates becasue thats the place that will show on the depatures screen not nesseccerly Poulton. Na its not scary, there are always quite alot of staff around at train stations so if in doubt just ask!!

  3. The information boards at Preston are very good. Just check through one on the platform you arrive on and, if you're still uncertain, ask a platform attendant.

The Poulton-le-Fylde trains are Northern Rail - final destination Blackpool North - leaving at 06, 26 and 34 minutes past the hour.  Preston to Poulton journey time is 16/17 minutes.

  4. As long as you dont loose your head, or forget how your brain works (like the majority of train travellers), check the departure screens and LISTEN for announcements you will be Ok.

  5. Trains to Blackpool generally go from platform 1 and return to platform 2.....poulton is on the line to Blackpool NORTH(there are 2 stations in Blackpool so make sure you look for that).

When you arrive at Preston...look for where the main exit is...and information screens (showing departures)near there tell you which platform Blackpool trains are leaving from).
