Is it easy to transfer from Air National Guard to Air Force Reserve?

I'm in a constained career field, f-16 avionics, and there are openings in most all f-16 avionic units for my career field. Question is, is it a big pain in the *** to transfer from ANG to AFR? I'm looking to move from AZ guard to a reserve unit in FL. I'll pose this Q next drill to the career advisor, but if anyone can chime in til then, it would be nice.

Im pretty sure you have to be discharged first

You'll need to fill out a conditional release form and take it up your chain of command, you career adviser will have all the info for you
