  1. I got back from there not to long ago. I had a really good time. We stayed in Dar es salamm, and took a safari. It was really safe. but if you are looking for a vacation go to zanzibar. Amazing place. There are many safe places and as a 14 year old travelling with his family i felt comletly safe.

However tazania is a primaraly a muslim country. Hense the name Dar Es Salaam. So it would be important to know that shorts, tank tops, really just exposing the knees ankles, and shoulders is bad. Which isn't fun since it is really hot. But it was really safe. But a cheaper alterative would be kenya. It is safe now and the only reason we went to tanzania is because the day we landed in kenya, everything went haywire. but both kenya and tanzania are completly safe. but in case your interested kenya is a more stable and modern country and it is cheaper.

  2. No! Rather it will be wise to get a native to indulge and learn your Safari.

  3. My 75 year old Mother just returned from 3 weeks in Tanzania. She went as a member of a Teacher's group who taught English and History. She had a wonderful time, the people were friendly and she felt about as safe as one could anywhere new and foreign to you.

  4. I am a 21 year old girl who lived for 4 months last year in a town called Moshi in Tanzania, all by myself. I absolutely LOVED every second of it. For the most part it is safe, just keep your eyes open and dont act like a fool. Dont go out alone at night and you will be perfectly fine. The transportation is not too difucult. You can buy bus passes to get you most places you need to go. You will enjoy it more than I can say! Have fun!!!!
