  1. No, it doesn't really matter, but here is a "green" craft:

    Recycled Notebooks:

    You need

*Pieces of paper that have been used on one side

    *Hole Punch

    *Scissors

    *Paper Clip

    *Pen(optional)

Take the paper and stack 4 or five sheets with the clean side facing up. Fold the paper lightly in quarters and cut along the creases. Punch a hole in the top of the stack and stick the paper clip through. On the top piece you can write Save A Tree... Write on Me!

  2. pen or pencil or print ..everything is recycled together and moreover the grinded pulp is bleaches before making new sheets..hence it hardly matters

  3. Doesn't matter what it has been written or printed on with. The paper is what is important in the recycle programme.

There may be other ethical choices by using organic ink or not using pencils made from non-sustainable sources?

    John.

  4. I'm a Virtual Assistant and short story writer for fun and when I have to print out a draft copy I can't use, I stash it and use its reverse side the next time I have to draft print.  Then both side printed sheets go to recycling if non-confidential and to light my fire if confidential or if too much of the latter it goes on my compost heaps.

  5. Yeah, it doesn't make a difference, other than if they make paper out of it again, it may come out a slightly different color, but they probably bleach paper white anyway. So recycle your paper no matter what you've written on it.

  6. makes no difference.  Pencil is graphite (carbon), ink is an organic polymer.
