  1. Depends on the state.

    Yes for the most part.

You're parents either have to enroll you in homschooling or they have to sign an document stating that they're allowing you to drop out of school.

Otherwise you and or your parents can be arrested and you can be placed in a foster angeny and your parents can face charges such as neglect.

  2. Yes it is, u have to be 16 to be allowed to not go to school

  3. You still need to go to school.

  4. yes it is . you must be homeschooled or be in public school or private . or they will get you and your parents for truancy .. and parents can go to jail . and many times dcf will step in and take you

  5. In California, we have the CHSPE exam.  I think you may have to be 16, but if you live in Calif. you might want to think about taking that exam, and if you pass, you don't have to go to school.  My daughter took it in her first half of Junior Year in H.S. and passed it, and went on to the City College and started taking courses.  Look up CHSPE on the internet, or wherever you live, there should be an equivalent of that test/exam.

  6. No, but it is *illegal*.

  7. You're not finished learning yet, kid.  What kind of work do you think you're going to do with those language skills and no HS diploma?

  8. US federal law requires that all citizens between the ages of 5 and 18, I believe, must attend some form of school, whether it's public school, private school, homeschooling, or whatever.
