  1. No! Who would want to here a communist like the hilldabeast or a guy like obongo speak anyway?

  2. You can do what you want with your money.

  3. Ethical? That doesn't matter.

People who pay that much money usually are the ones who can afford it and they attend the dinners to support the president/candidate. The whole point is to raise money.

The money you pay goes into their campaign or whatever the cause is. They don't charge that much to make a profit.

Also they dont have these parties for people who just want to say they saw the president/candidate. its for people who want to listen to the host's ideas, speech, or to support a cause.

  4. no politicians are full of s**+.t

  5. Get along Ethic with Politics? ummm... not always

  6. no. not at all.

  7. What gold is that steak going to be filled with?  Haha.

  8. Um, it's not unethical. It's ridiculous but not unethical...

  9. I don't care if it's ethical...it's stupid.

  10. It's a fund-raiser; it's a method by which supporters can raise money to support the candidate of their choice. It's voluntary, and it doesn't cost a penny of public money.

Additionally, it all goes back into the economy. It pays for campaign workers salaries and benefits, it purchases posters, pins, lawn signs, telephone lines, radio and television ads, it leases vehicles and campaign offices and it rents convention centers and hotel rooms.

There's nothing unethical about it at all.

  11. Not if it's Obama. lol and only if the $ they raise is going towards a good cause.

  12. If it will make you not wanna eat for weeks then I guess its worth it.

  13. Ethical or not, it's way too much money to hear someone speak. DON'T DO IT!!!

  14. No, but it is proof that the economy can't be that bad.

  15. I think so, I wouldn't though.  It is a way of fund-raising.  If you want to hear what the candidate has to say, and believe enough in their campaign to donate $2000, I think that's a way to do it.

  16. It is ridiculous and a total waste of limited resources.

  17. No, nobody is worth 2000.00 to listen to them tell you lies about what they plan to do and don't do it.
