Is it ethically wrong to use capital letters in the subject of an e-mail?

My colleague tells me the use of capital letters is perceived as insulting to the reader/audience.

  2. Ethically wrong??  No...  of course not.

    It's helpful if the subject line is grammatically correct.  That means one doesn't sprinkle capital letters around for decoration.

  5. There is no "ethics" involved.    

    Some people think using caps is the internet equal to yelling at someone.  

    Some people feel that if you do not use the shift key, you are just being lazy.  

    Best approach is to use good grammar and spelling at all times and you will not go wrong.

  6. In email etiquette .. using all capital letters is considered as shouting to your sender.
