Is it ever going to open again??

is vmk ever opening up again? liike it;s been closed for most of the summer. its says that its like celebrating the 50th aniverisry of disney land? idk i'm lost. help.

It will probably never open again.

According to Disney, VMK was created for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland.

It was only supposed to run during the celebration (an 18-month period), but because it was so popular, they let it go longer.

But -- since it was free to use, they weren't making any money on it (which isn't really true, as many people were taking extra trips to the real theme parks to get codes, etc.).

VMK launched as a part of the Disneyland 50th Celebration and is now closed. Disney.com continues to create experiences to amaze our guests and we hope that all of our VMK friends will continue to join us.

i think they closed it because they had reached the max amount of members that they could have on the site
