it could be if the right thing is the wrong reason at the right point of time on the wrong day of the right month but with the wrong person and right pair of pants...

Always and never are strong words that are thrown around carelessly by many people.  That said, I cannot say that it is never ok to do the wrong thing for the right reason.  But, of course, it is highly dependent upon the circumstances.  Who will be hurt by your decision?  Who stands to gain?  Weigh these carefully before you decide.
