  2. As long as you stay within the same state, then yes it is possible. The closer you are, the better chance you have of being able to keep it however

  4. ok, ignore that lot, if you move within the same exchange area and notify your comms provider first then no probs, use http://www.samknows.com/broadband/about.... to work that out, if you move exchange then you can pay loads for an out of area exchange no. or get a redirection message on your old number for a fee also.this applys in uk anyhow.

  5. Yes, as long as youput a request in with your line provider.  You won't be able to keep the same area code if you move out of the area.

    I think you may have to contact your phone company to request to keep the same number.
