Is it ever to early to plan your future?

I am a freshmen in high school and I know where I want to go to college and what I want to be when I am older everyone tells me I am thinking to far ahead..

It's never too early to plan your future, but it's always too early to close other doors.  We change, learn, and grow throughout life.  Intelligent people change most of all and for all of us, High School is a time of life where change happens at lightening speed.  An early career decision can make us stop looking, stop considering other possibilities.  Sometimes our passions lie in some places we consider the most unlikely.   I know that is where I stumbled into mine.

I suspect you are a courageous, strong minded person.  I also suspect that the people who love hope you'll keep your eyes and your mind open over the coming years.  Don't ever stop going after new possibilities.  For someone with your commitment, they're limitless.
