Yes it is...lived here all my life...you can't find a decent place now to rent for under $1000/month...everything is very costly (food, gas, entertainment)...try going to a Sox game with a family for under $500....cost of living in MA is high...hope you have a good job...

It depends on where you live if you are planning to move into downtown under 1000sq ft apartment will run you about 1200-1500 per/month but if you head just a bit outside of town you can get a lot more for your money.
