Is it expensive to get an LCD computer monitor mended?

Mine is working okay but it's when it boots up it plays up for about 3/4 of an hour before settling down. So I don't think it's too much wrong with it.

With the way that monitor prices have come down it is probably not worth getting repaired, when you can get a "22" monitor for £132.00

If you can get it repaired under £70, it may be worth it. Because you can get a new one for that price:

It depends wats actually wrong with the monitor or wat LCD screen you go for.

I would say go for a new LCD screen because technology is progressing fast and also  you dont want to pay out for a repair on the old monitor then find it breaks down again.
