Is it expensive to take long hot showers?

my water bill has increased...is it expensive to take long showers?? how much??

idk cuz im only 14 but i take hot showers for about 15 minutes and my mom hasnt yelled at my yet so it cant be to bad, but if ur in there for more than a 1/2 hour thats just wasteful and u need to cut back. if u want to just soak in the water try taking a bath or something. its way less wasteful!

The water bill won't show the cost of the showers.

That comes with your power or fuel bill.

It costs energy to heat that water.

If your water bill shows a large increase in consumption, look elsewhere for the problem.

Showers generally make little difference in total consumption.

For sure........probably the most costly thing you use in your house.........not only the water, but the juice , and also the steam will cause you to pay someday........but it's up to you.

YES!, If you have city water, you pay by the gallon, You also pay for electric or gas, to heat your water. The only ways to conserve are... shorten your shower, take a colder one, or get a shower head that uses less water.

regardless of how much water you are using IT COST A LOT OF MONEY JUST TO HEAT THE WATER, regardless of the method that you're heating the water with.  as a parent I'd want to kick your butt.      i assume you don't believe in the green planet thing.

your water bill does not mean you are taking long hot showers. are you having the grass watered? along with more people in the house using water, did you fill up a large pool? water being hot  will be  electric  your water bill  is  the  amount  of  water you  use  each month
