Question:

Is it fair for my girlfriend to blame me for a vaginal infection she developed?

Not to be too graphic, but basically, we were doing some fooling around that involved the placement of sugary foods in her vaginal canal. She developed some kind of infection shortly afterwards, and blames me for that. Is it actually my fault, or can the presence of foreign sugars in a woman's vaginal canal actually cause infections?

  1. If she allowed you, then it is BOTH of your faults lol. Although it sounds as if neither one of you knew any better. She most likely now has a yeast infection, correct? Yeast feed and thrive on sugar, and other than taking antibiotics is one of the surest ways to contract one.

  2. its both your fault.  The sugars woudl deff cause  infection..  and you guys should of been more careful.. now you know for next time.. as least it was a lesson learned.

  3. Yes and yes.

Well I actually had been clear of infections and then got one when I got with my boyfriend at the time. I went to a doctors appointment and the nurse was asking me questions like "Do you know how many partners your boyfriend has had?'' Do you know if he has a STD?" I was like freaking out because I was like well DO I have one because of him and she was well an infection for sure. I was like what and she told me be sure your the only one. Which I was 100 % sure. So maybe she did get an inferction because of you but I'm not sure of the sugars you guys were playing with.

  4. she cant blame just u

it was both of u who agreed to put things inside of her

therefore it should be both of u who get the blame

  5. Any foreign objects up there can cause infections, even your p***s. Some women are more sensitive to disruptions in bacteria levels and whatnot than others. Even if it was your idea, I don't think it's right for her to blame you, because I doubt you forcibly put something up there so the act was mutual.

  6. Well, it's definitely something mutual. So no blame attached. Her own hygiene is an issue too. I did that with my bf too. But she needa clean it up right after s*x as baterial and yeast infection is common if the sugar remains there for long.

  7. yes it can cause an infection

  8. I would have to say it could of been the sugars. Your not suppose to put food of any type directly inside, only on the outside. Its not your fault, you guy's should of just been more careful about the placement!

  9. That part of the human anatomy is always warm, moist, and dark.  A lot of bacteria and yeast thrive in such an environment.

It's possible adding sugar could cause one of the residents to start to thrive enough to become problematic.
