Is it fair my mom won't buy me new shoes?

Question

Im 13 and school starts in a week, the only shoes I havse to wear that fit me now are flip flops and my gym shoes. Though my gym shoes i have to keep at school so its really only flip flops, and cleats for soccer. My mom wont buy me new shoes cuse she says im old enough to buy my own clothes now but im broke cuse i spent my money on a drum set (that was before she told me i have to buy my own clothes). I have a job as a soccer ref which is the only job 13 year olds can get and I really need shoes just for walking around in at school and at places. I do help out but when i point this out my mom says that I have to start acting as a grown up but im not an adult yet. please help!!

just count down untell you are 18 and leave untell then babysit for cash your mom sounds crazy mine is too

talk to your mom in a nice calm manner and just tell her whats on your mind and if that doesnt work save up for a cheap pair of tennis shoes ...... hello wal-mart :)
