  1. No.  In this morning's paper, too, there is a story of a British girl taken from her mother and put into care.  They had apparently been sleeping rough, after running out of money.  And yes, the case is in Portugal, but other than that, why the need to compare?

As for the Israeli case, children have been killed, by their family or by others, since time immemorial.  Every case is distressing.

  2. No. However at least someone has confessed to her killing and justice can be done, and yes woo shock horror look at this McFans it was a family member wot dunnit. As is the case in child rape, murder, and disappearances it is always more than likely perpetrated by someone KNOWN TO THE CHILD.

"No-one seemed to really notice until her grandfather walked into a Tel Aviv police station two weeks ago and confessed to her murder."

Will one of the Tapas 9 have the balls to admit their guilt? I doubt it as they're all selfish unhelpful cowards.

  3. No, it's not fair - Rose is a child in her own right.

She should be fairly reported and compared to no-one.

  4. Each child who goes missing or is murdered has their own heartbreaking story.

Their own 'record of events', of a young life not given a chance.

No these things should NEVER be compared as respect for all the children who it effects.

It smacks of nothing more than a media by line.

  5. dont see why it matters

  6. The death of any child is sad but when one gets abused and murdered is tragic.I can understand people comparing Maddie McCann with this little girl. Neither have been found but in the case of Rose Ron a grandparent has confessed to her murder. Nobody knows what happened to Maddie so its not right to compare the two. I just hope that the grand fathers confession proves to be false and both girls are found alive and well

  7. Every child who goes missing brings up memories of other missing children.  For example, Ben Needham's name came up frequently in the early days of the Madeleine case.  It's not exactly fair, but it is understandable.

It's terribly sad to look at the only photo being shown of poor Rose Ron knowing that her short life was filled with so much pain.

  8. It only goes to show that there is nothing unique about Madeleine McCann's disappearance and that there are THOUSANDS of other children who've disappeared and who received little or no attention.

If it wasn't for Maddie, we would never hear about this girl Rose.

  9. No two children can be compared...not in their studies, looks, temperament & definitely not in the tragedies that befall them as in these 2 sad cases.

  10. No it's not in fact it has become d**n boring plus it is disrespectful to other children who go missing or who are murdered, as if they are only second best to Madeline. That is a very sad story it has chilled me to the bone.
