I have a rabbit named Pumpkin Butt. He's a real sweety. I've had him for 3 months. I love him, but he never gets floor time. My brother went and got 3 farm cats and they are steadily around Pumps cage. He ha a baby gate on top and is in a corner so he can escape. The cats are crazy and the bunny is scared. I share my room with my sister, so there's no choice of closing door and the rest of the house is pretty open. Mom said just put him outside, but he was here first and he's always been inside. I really love him, but would it be best to rehome him?

  1. i know how its feels to have that happen with a pet ... but you have to do wats best for him if you truly love him....even if that means giving him away ... but another trick you could do is when they get really close to the cage and look at him like hes food ... get a squirt bottle and spray him haha ... thats what i did they dont even want to come near him any more

  2. Get a big cardboard box and put his cage in it and then put the box in like the gerage or a big room that cats cant get on top of stuff and into the box.

  3. I think you should keep him. He was there first and there is no reason why you should ever rehome him if you love him dearly. Just make sure he isn't around the cats but if you think it's best for him, you can do it.

  4. Can you put him in the bathroom and keep the door shut? The bathroom is easy to bunny-proof and the floor is easy to clean up. He can spend a few hours in there if everybody remembers to close the door.

  5. he must be stressed out because of the cats so do whatever is best for your bunny even though it may be hard.
