Is it fair to say that what seperates Jordan from Lebron is that MJ had a team and Lebron doesnt?

Obviously michael jordan didnt get those rings by himself, and lebron made it to the finals at such a young age with not enough help from his teamates. But is it really fair to say that Lebron is better than MJ????? or going to surpass him based on him not having help? thoughts on this?

He is not even close yet....Jordan could single handedly take over the entire game while Lebron cannot.  When he plays teams that actually have D...he does not hit his shots, and he always trys to take it to the whole and misses a ton of layups that Jordan would put in no problem.  Jordan and Lebron should not even be used in the same sentence.

did you ever watch Jordan play??? difference is Jordan hit the clutch shots and Lebron misses every clutch shot he takes. Lebron is a great player dont get me wrong, and one day he may very well be in that conversation. For now, however, lets keep some perspective on the comparisons.

i would have to agree with u actually. if jordan didnt have pippen nd rodman, it would've been a stockton and malone Jazz Dynasty. LeBron i think has more talent than Jordan nd got himself to the NBA finals by himself nd with just 1 better player, like an above average PG like rondo would get him to the championship

That would definitely factor into a comparison, but you can debate on whether MJ got those rings alone or with help. Scottie Pippen could not be the go-to guy if MJ was out, so he basically won it 80-20 with solid contribution. LeBron has a solid center in Zydrunus Ilgauskas, a good PG in Mo Williams, and a clutch shooter who can carry part of the offensive load in Boobie Gibson. Yes, LeBron is a complete player, but you gotta definitely take help from your teammates. Michael had all of that and don't forget, the Zen Master Phil.

I think that's a big part to add to the comparison.  Can't really say what Lebron can do until he does get some descent help.  But the best way to compare them now is compare regular season and post season numbers of lebron and jordan before he got his role players.  Also the aruguement that Lebron took his subpar team to the finals is not the good, because the East was weeker than a jv highscool basketball team.

How quickly we forget...or possibly you weren't born yet.  MJ didn't have a team for many years when he first got into the league as well.  He was playing along the likes of Brad Sellers, Orlando Woolridge, etc. not exactly a team of superstars.  He still had scoring crowns, All-Star Appearances, etc and had it not been for the Bad Boys probably would have made it to the finals in spite of all of that.  From cover to cover of this book "MJ vs Kobe" "MJ vs Lebron" "MJ vs Anyone we have seen so far the original #23 is the greatest...period".
