Is it fair women have to spend more on themselves?

Is it fair that women have to spend so much more money on themselves? We have to buy sanitary products and even though the tax has only just been put down on them, they're still 5% VAT (sales tax). Have to spend loads more on our hair and buy more hair products. Men usually just go to a cheap traditional barber. Have to have loads of different shoes. Men's shoes usually go with anything. Have to buy bras, so that's 7 bras a week (as I change my underwear every day) I have to wear and they're expected to look s**y and match my under pants. Men usually just buy a pack of 10 pants to last all year. My handbag has to match my clothes, so that's about 10 handbags I have to have. Tights only last about a day, well mine do anyway as after a day they have snags all over them. I have to wear tights at work if I wear a skirt. If I go somewhere nice hold up stockings cost about 6 pound a pair and I'm supposed to pay half the bill at a restaurant too.

You are wrong. You dont HAVE to buy 10 pairs of sheos. You don't have to buy loads of make up or spend a fortune on your hair. You CHOOSE to because you worry about what other people (most of whom you don't know personally) will think of you. It's your choice. You don't HAVE to have 10 hand bags. You don't HAVE to wear tights. You have chosen to be brainwashed into conforming - either be an individual and do what makes you happy, or continue to choose to conform and buy what you think you need and stop moaning about it.

The only thing you need in this life is good food, fresh air, love and freedom. Start enjoying your life and stop being brainwashed.

Incidentally, your tax on sanitary products is 5% is it?. VAT stands at 17.5% so you are getting a good deal on sanitary products.

I think its fair, we have the choice whether we buy them or not, maybe not with sanitary products, but we dont have to match our bra every day, we dont have to have lots of bags, we dont have to have lots of shoes, we buy them because we want them not because we need them. Men just either dont care so much and some of them buy just as much as women

I don't have hundreds of pairs of shoes... I just pick a couple of pairs that will go with every thing. Same with hand bags a couple is enough. Underwear is my down fall, It has to match and I change it every day but I don't all ways buy the most expensive though. I don't follow fashion so i buy clothes that are comfortable reasonably smart and only what I really need.

I don't spend that much money on me. I usually end up saving it in a bank account or something, then my mom takes it out without asking, and uses it for HERself.

So if I DID spend money on myself, I'd spend it on anime merchandise and video games. So I might as well let my mom take it if she's gonna put BETTER use to it. . . . . . I mean, at least sometimes she spends it on groceries when we're going a little broke. . . . . .

I want a job so badly. lol!
