  1. have u watched them fight? maybe they r mating i dont know? most hamstars fight by biting

  2. Firstly check to make doubly sure you do not have a mixed s*x pair of hamsters in the cage. Sometimes pet shops not well trained in hamsters make mistakes and wrongly s*x the hamsters. If they are male and female, they may be mating.

The following link would tell you how to s*x your hamsters -

Normally dwarfs from same litter can coexist peacefully, however if they are from different litters, there is a possibility for them to fight.

There are two types of fighting that dwarfs do -

    1. Play-fighting often occurs when they are establishing an order of dominance, they may squeak a lot but there is little physical contact. This need not be taken seriously as they can sort out their differences on their own in a few days and live happily together. Give the hamsters a lot of distractions by giving them ample space, plenty of hiding places and toys. Also keep two exercise wheels, food trays, habitats (plastic houses) and hamster water bottles in the cage so that they do not fight when both want to do the same things at the same time. This will reduce the stress created by having to live with one another in an enclosed space.

    2. Serious fighting is very physical and prolonged then it may be that they don't get along and need to be separated. Tell-tale signs of serious fighting are heavy squeaking and violent fighting. Hamsters also usually get bitten in the tail region or their feet and if you see bleeding or even older scars, you might want to consider separating the pair.

  3. Hi There! i would say this is real fighting because hamsters dont form relationships. its probably territorial fighting with eachother. Hope This Helped! -Lily Allen♥☻☺

  4. Sounds more like s*x.

  5. no sounds like nothing but keep on eye on them

  6. extend your question. are you talking about syrian (regular) hamsters? or dwarf hamsters? if its syrian they are fighting. syrian hamsters should never be put together. sryians will fight to the death.

if its dwarf hamsters, they make a weird hissing, squeaking sound when they fight. dwarf hamsters very rarely kill one another. mine fight all the time and are just fine. but if they were just wrestling, playing around they wouldn't make any noises.

i really hope you are talking about dwarf hamsters

i think putting two sryains together is animal cruelty. i hope people can be prosecuted for it.

EDIT: since they ae russian they probably are fighting, but wont do much damage.

  7. Are you sure they are fighting? What "mission" are they accomplishing if they fight?

  8. Take them out of the cage together the are getting territorial they might kill one another!
