How does one get an asteroid named after them?  That's pretty boss.  Nadal is a very good tennis player, but I wouldn't go as far as to name an asteroid after him

When I first heard about it, I thought it was a bit much and kind of funny. I know they're really proud of him, but I would think a parade or something would be in order. An asteroid? Kind of going over the top.

I guess not as tennis and astronomy are too far apart. But then again there is not another individual from Mallorca who is more well known around the world than Nadal. I'd still name a major street or building after him rather than an asteroid. Surprised it got approved. As for steroid use, nice pun by the way, he is clean as a whistle as long as he sticks to tennis and not get into baseball...
