i really need very ones help my father let two people who are sibilings money, he gave them his SS# and went with them to take credit cards and cars. with a lie of they needing credit to buy a house my dad with good will wanting to help them he let them borrow money, and credit my dad is now more than $35,000 in debt because the sibliings never paid anthing.

they now do not want to pay my dad anything because they say its not a fraud since my dad was aware of everything. i am looking for a lawyer for help. please!

  1. I am sorry your Dad got taken advantage of but since he obviously knew about everything that happened he has no one to blame but himself.


  2. You can speak to a lawyer, but since your Father was involved in the first place, he's a partner in committing the credit fraud.  Since the loans are in his name, and he knew about them. I believe he is responsible.

  3. Your dad is very naive if he didn't see trouble around the corner.  Sorry he has to learn this the hard way.  It is probably worth consulting an attorney but he needs to do that himself.
