Is it free to replace an ipod mini battery?

Im getting the ipod soon this week because my sister sent it from her collage and then ipod battery is like 18.00 bucks but if i take it to radioshack will it be free replacing it? Because i dont really want to spend any money on that So will it be free?

  1. If you have a service plan or 30 day receipt then yes if not no =(
