  1. It's free...

  2. Viewing the Falls only costs so far as getting there and parking. You can see the falls for free but if you want to ride on The Maid of the Mist then you have to pay for the ride on the boat.

Have a great time & if you can see them at night you also get to see the lights - awesome.

  3. Unless you just plan to drive around in your car, you will very likely have to pay for parking or shuttle service no matter what you do. Free parking and walking is possible, but it fills up quick and would probably take up too much of your short period of time to find. A parking fee of about $8-10 should get you close enough to the Falls to walk. Also, the Niagara Parks Service offers a $10 parking lot which includes a free shuttle service to and from the Table Rock Complex. Their observation decks (both indoor and outdoor) are free. They get their money from other attractions, shopping and their food service, all of which is optional for you to do.

Also, most permanent attractions have some sort of admission fee. If you just want to see the Falls and nothing else for a short period of time, it probably won't be free but it can be done for relatively little money.

  4. To see the falls is free, but everything else there will cost you a year of you wage! Lol, well, not that much, but it is very expensive. I work for the Maid of the Mist. It's $15 per person and it's a boat that takes you to the base of the falls. We charge $20 parking (at Candy Planet, just up the road). There is also Journey Behind the Falls, further up the road, where you can go and stand almost at the base of the waterfall itself. It's totally awesome. That's about $12, but worth it. That's about all you'd pay for to "see" the falls, unless you just walk along the walkway.

That's free, and very nice as well! Especially at night :)

  5. Yep but maid of the mist is something like $15 canadian

  6. Parking is probably not free but i would think that to see it it would be free. maid of the mist probably costs though.

  7. Depending on where you park.  I would park at Kinsmen Park in Chippawa (free) or Dufferin Islands and walk towards the falls.  Otherwise, there is a $2 parking lot (all day) up Murray Hill.  Just follow Murray Hill up and you will see it on your left.  Hope this helps!

  8. The falls are free, but they have you on the parking if you want to park close by. The parking right across the road from the falls was $20 a couple of weeks ago. It does tend to vary by season, but I'm sure it's still peak now. Cheaper parking can be found if you don't mind walking.

There is a charge for the Maid Of The Mist and the underground tunnels, but the actual view of the falls from the side of the road is free

  9. you'll have to pay for parking at some point but to actually look at the falls is 100% free. (by the way want some free parking? go up to Dufferin Island and park there, it's about a 10 minute walk from the falls and it's free)

There is plenty to do around teh falls that costs money but the view itself does not.

  10. of course its free.

parking probably cost money but when i go i always walk down.

at night time the falls are so beautiful with the lights.

im going there this week again i love it.

  11. of course its free! but if want to see it on a boat you have to pay!
