  1. Most likely yeah.

Malmo is usually slightly warmer than Stockholm but if you are unlucky it may be -20 degrees Celsius and snow...  If you are not used to cold weather you will probably find even a mild winter in Sweden fairly cold.

Stockholm is surrounded by water which means it can get rather windy as well in areas of the city.

If you're prepared with warm clothing (layers, layers, layers!!!) you should be fine.

    Enjoy your trip!!

  2. no its only bout a day away from us in america

  3. Surely

  4. not really i live in arvika about 4 hours drive north from malmö and its pretty good here the weather is pretty unpredictable it could be -5 Celsius or -25 Celsius in February anyways it isn't that bad i lived in london, england for 5 years and got used to it pretty fast just bring some extra warm clothes :O

EDIT: stockholm and new york are roughly on the same level so if you have experienced a winter in new york it should be about the same.

ps. winter 2007 was very mild we only had like a week of snow the whole winter with about -15 at its coldest

    - happy to help

  5. Yep, it is pretty cold here in the winter. The farther north you go, the colder it is, but it still gets very cold in Stockholm and Malmö. Snow is common around February, so bring your woolly hat!
