hi... well I'm in year 9 and on the first day of year 8 i met this girl and we've been best friends ever since... she always talks about her best friend from primary school and stuff but she lives like a 2 hour drive from where we are... and the other day she pulled me away from the group and told me that her old best friend is moving to our school... but me and her old best friend never got along we always fight... now I'm worried shes gonna ditch me for her fully... is there anything i can do to try and get along with her old best friend? and is there anyway to make it not awkward in the group?

  1. Hey everyone it's AWKWARD

  2. uhh yeah it will be very akward.. just be there for ur friend and try to get along i guess

  3. If you don't agree about something with her old best friend, don't keep engaging in the argument.  Just leave it be.  Arguing will make it worst.  Just try not to fight with her.  If the person you're talking about is really your best friend, she won't abandon you.

  4. Well you could bring another friend in for the mean time to keep you company so it doesnt seem awqward ive been in that situation many times and its awful ...

  5. you can have an open forum if you want. it's like a talk among the three of you and opening up to what you want to say, or what you want to talk about to each other. here, say that you're having a hard time with this BF but you really want to make things okay so that you won't lose your friend and make her your new friend, too. It's a sincere talk, a problem solving forum. just be open-minded, let them talk too and just be tactful.
