is that smart,average, or r****d??

Well, a score of 120 means you are of "above average intelligence." Remember though, these tests only measure your potential to think quickly, and are not an accurate indication of how successful you will be in life. Be happy though, you're above average and potentially will be able to out think many people in important situations.

If you received this score from an on-line source, consider it invalid and neither good nor bad.

If you received this score from a legitimately administered test, please tell everyone what test it is when announcing your score (e.g., "I got 126 on the WISC-IV") similar to how people report their SAT scores.

p.s. - the term is "retarded" not r****d and is not to be used as a slang term but rather as a diagnosis by a professional.

It doesn't matter how old you are.  An IQ test should be taking your age into account, so your score compares you to other people your age.  Telling us how old you are is unnecessary.

IQ test are set up so that average is 100.  If you score a 100, no matter your age, you scored exactly the average of those in your age group.  A score of 120 is above average.  Keep in mind that all it really measures is how well you took that test and has little or no relevance for much else.

Please don't use the word "r****d" that way.  It is highly offensive when used as slang or to mean of lower than average intelligence.  If you aren't a professional then just don't use it.

it qualifies you as above average, borderline gifted. usually 120 is used as a lower boundary when schools identify gifted students
