is it good ideas to join spottt.com....or is it just going to take away my visitors to other website ......please i need help .....i am not sure

If they are bigger than you its risky for them because they may not want to drive their customers / users for you to steal /use too.

I suppose they would not mind if they are different to you eg: they sell animal accessories and you eg; talk about animal nature etc --then thats different.

I suggest using link directories, which many are free, for people/business to find your Website. You need to follow their rules and I suggest using a template with such information as title (keyword phrase), company url, email, owner name, address of business, phone number, 3-4 descriptions using keywords of various character counts from 150 to 300. If you need traffic to your site why not use autosurf programs like www.topsurfing.net to get free hits to your site. They help a lot in getting your website higher in the search engines. I have never paid for any advertising and my sites do well in search engines.
