Is it good or bad to shave down there?

I have been debating if i should because my boyfriend wants to finger me and he told he would like it better shaven. but i dont know if its good or bad and how to do it properly. Help? how do you shave down there?

it's a small world. i asked that too. well it is bad because if you have s*x....his pubic hair is with dirt and etc. and it rubs up against your skin. but if you want to shave downwards then side to side. if it's your first time take scissors and cut the hair down before you shave. there are products out there too shave with but it's your decision. use more then one shaver. and before you shave take a hot shower so the hair and skin is more easier to shave, good luck!

Only do it because you want to do it!

It is a very sensitve area, so be careful. Use a man's razor (better designed for softness and curves), exfoliate the area first (brush it with a sponge or loofa or something), use a good shaving product preferably sensitve or moisturising, shaving in the direction of growth - it won't give you a smooth flawless look, but it will help lessen shaving rash, afterwards exfoliate by rubbing with a towel. Apply some sort of moisturiser or aftershave lotion - I like sudocream.

Remind you boyfriend that shaved one day, means stubble for more days! Does he want stubble?

Above all, don't do it just because he thinks it would be better. Do it if you want to.

For health reasons, it's better to keep some down there to help keep bacterial invaders out. You can trim it though. And again, trim for yourself if you want to. If he wants it shaven so bad, let him do it then.

You don't have to be shaven to get fingered i don't like to shave it started to itch when it grows in it will drive you crazy do what you want to do its your body

No.  It can cause irritation particularly from razor bumps and it also adds to the risk of having more ingrown hairs.  I would just trim it down neatly and as low as YOU want it.  Do this if it makes YOU comfortable; not for some guy.

A lot of girls shave down there. but if your uncomfotable with totally shaven just trim it short to start with.    but if you do shave ..   remmeber use a clean sharp razor and lots of shaving cream/soap/w.e you use  to help things go smoothly ..

Its fine, just be careful you dont slice yourself up. You should make a deal with him. Tell him you will shave if he does! It will be much harder for him to do it =p
