Is it good the feed a dwarf hamster regular sunflower seeds?

help? i have been eating them, and i thought i could give my dwarf hamster some of it, can i? but cut the shell, and give it the seed?

sun flower seeds are fine! it is the favourite foo of many rodents including hamsters! sunflower seeds can be quite fatty so make sure you don't give him LOADS but there are no other problems like choking or anything - no way!!

yes. Don't take the shell off. Your hamster will love to take the shell of himself. They always put sunflowers in the hamster food mixes. I just don't jsuggest giving them a lot.

Its absolutely fine, many hamster food mixes come with sunflower seeds in them. A hamster with a small throat would never be silly enough the swallow the seed whole, it would nibble it off it smaller pieces.
