  1. Maha shivratri isone of the biggest festival of hindus and genrally a fasting day. you must offer milk to lord shiva today and have prasad.go to any shiv temple.there will be lot of rush but do not miss todays darshan.

  2. Yeah its really good....to celebrate maha shivratri...

  3. Do you know what the ladies are doing on Sivaratri ?

The do fasting for the whole day and night. After that they pour milk and water over the Siva Lingam (gigantic stone replica of phallus of lord shiva), with a expectation of having a husband with similar one. The married women do this with a prayer that her husband's tool should be as big as that of the stone statue.

So if you also expect so then do celebrate sivaratri.

My answer may hear raw and slang but as per Hindu mythology this is the exact purpose of sivaratri.

ADDED LATER - I have already received two thumbs down rating. When we the Hindus will get the guts to accept truth as thuth. If I show my phallus openly it would be considered as obscene and pictures would be rted "X". And the phallus of Lord Shiva is HOLY !!
