Is it good to do push ups in the middle of my cardio workout?

Three times a week for my work out I do some cross training which includes 20 minutes on the elliptical machine, 20 minutes on the bike, and 20 minutes on a stair stepper like machine. In the middle of this workout I do 30 push ups 5 times. So, by the end of the work out I have done 150 push ups. My question is whether or not it is good for my body to do the push ups during my cardio work out. Should I do the push ups after I am done or does it not matter.

  1. No matter, you can carry on your present schedule. You cand reduce the push ups up to 50 nos during your cardio days. I suggest you do to Hindu Push ups instead of normal pus ups. That will give you a great deal of benefits.


  2. well it doesn't really matter much because your still keeping your heart rate up so your blood would still pump at a fast speed and feed you with energy but if you wait too long after you finish and let your heart rate go all the way down then you might be too tire for it and if you force yourself to do it, you'd get more sore.
