  1. Yes, it is.

The more you exercise the more water you need to keep your body going!!! otherwise you will get dehydrated and maybe pass out because of the lack of fluid in your body.

    So go drink, now :P

    hope this helps.

  2. First of all, being thirsty means your body needs re-hydration.  Our bodies are smart like that.  A lot of the time they'll tell us when they need something.

Basically, if you perspired during the physical activity, you need to replace that water.

    So.....have a drink.

  3. It is very important to drink a good amount of water throughout the day to keep your body properly hydrated. The rec. amount of water is around 64-80 oz per day for the average person and obviously higher when we are physically active so we can replace the fluids that were lost while exercising. Another thing to take into consideration is if you are exercising for more than 60 minutes consistently it may be a good idea to have a sports drink to replace some of the electrolytes and carbs that were lost during the activity.

But, YES it is very important to drink water after exercising to replace those fluids lost and to keep yourself properly hydrated - one good way to judge your hydration level is going to be the color of your urine the darker it is the less hydrated you are and the more clear and lighter color it is the more hydrated you are... just another easy indicator to judge hydration levels!

  4. Always...it helps your muscles not get sore since they are all warmed up. It also keeps you from dehydrating since you sweat.
