Is it good to repeatedly refill water bottles?

you can only do it about once or twice and that's washing it thoroughly between uses. Otherwise bacteria can build up and become harmful

NO, ....YES YOU CAN REFILL YOUR WATER BOTTLE, BUT DO NOT USE IT FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE DAYS AS IT  HARBORS GERMS THAT ARE EXTREMELY HARMFUL.

You're being enviromentally friendly, and that's good!  I actually have 3 different water bottles.  As long as you repeatedly wash the bottle and let it dry out (completely), you'll be fine!

Sure, but if you refill the same bottle and use it over and over it's not very healthy. Get a big plastic water bottle from Meijers or KMart, and take that with you! That way you can wash it in the dishwasher, fill it with water and bring it wherever you go.

We have a recycled sign on some bottles and they suggest you should only use it a few times. Otherwise sterilize it in the microwave or with baby products for sterilization.

no actually I was watching Oprah ystrday and it was on saving the enviroment and they said that disposible water bottles arnt for refilling that they are a 1 use bottle after one use it starts to break down and the chemicals seep into the water, they said its best to buy I bottle designed to be re-used. I'm not american but apparntly americans throw away 3billion water bottles a week or somethng rediculous like that

umm no only like 1 or 2 times is good but plastic does rotten and give water a weird kinda bittery taste

I do it all of the time until I get tired of the bottle or I think its had enough.  It good for the environment and your pocketbook!  :)  I've never had a problem with the water or the bottles from refilling them.  Just be sure they look clean and there is no food or dirt on the bottle rim or in the bottle!  :)

yea i recon you can but only until u cannot clean it anymre and it becomes to old. its saves the enviroment and we do want the planet to be around for a children and their children don't we???
