  1. Its fine. The A/C Unit uses a seperate motor to the engine. Turning on the A/C will only use slightly more fuel than with it off. It does no damage to the motor whatsoever if you turn it on while moving. You will only overheat if you dont.

  2. Yes you can turn the A/C on while moving and it will do no damage to anything, you will use more gas because the compressor assembly will be an extra drag on the motor.

It is a good idea to turn the A/C on at least once a week just to move the oil that is in the system around and this will help the compressor stay lubricated.

  3. actually best not to on.. save petrol and doesnt cos much damages..

  4. no. no damages...only you will get hotter...

  5. When else would you turn it on?When the engine is off or when ur parked and engine on, or when its cold outside or when its hot outside or when the engine is warmed up,etc....i need some coffee my engine is not on

  6. It is actually false that having the A/C on while driving decreases gas mileage, assuming you are opening the windows all the way down.  There were big articles some time ago about how they did some research on many cars and found that the amount of gas needed to have the A/C on low while driving was equal to that of the gas needed to make up for the huge drag when you have four HUGE holes in your car!  It sounds kind of obvious when you think of it.

  7. its there, use it.
