For example, "And there I was ..." vs "An there I was"

  1. ... is not used to replace etc, it is called an ellipsis and is used to indicate that text has been omitted.

    E.G.

    She asked me about the present again, and again, and again, and again and again until I got sick of it.

    vs.

    She asked me about the present...until I got sick of it.

    So in your case, the ellipsis is not necessary, and it should not be used in titles.


  2. If this is a fiction/creative writing/short story sort of project, you can use an elipsis (...).  

    If you are writing a research paper, I would use a different title.
