The best part a teenager which he/she can do is studying.

if he ins interested in part time job, that if it matches to his hobbies/interest then it may be fine.

Otherwise a part time course for earning, is not what a teenager should get into it.

if a teenager has time, he should learn new books, play, and should do other activities. like traning.

instead of traning, a visit to the companies would be very helpful.

But if it means working at mcdonalds after school and tehn studying at night -that's fine-

I worked from the time I was 12 and was near the top of my class with scholarships to college..

there are exceptions-such as a student with a learnign disability if they need extra time to study

if u earn and learn at the same time you will lose out on the curriculum and it will affect your career in future,also money at an early age will make you lose interest in studies which will have a long lasting effect

so it is better to study first and then think about earning later unless

1-you are the only bread earner for the family

2-you are in need of money to bear the expenses of college
