I thought muslims considered Jesus as a prophet. If so, why do you consider drinking the fruit of the vine as sinful, when he clearly approved of drinking wine. Also is the fruit of the grain (beer and spirits) prohibited, if so, on what authority?

no it is not haram, as long as you dont perform a haram act such as drink alcohol it is not haram.

What I know is as long as you don't drink alcoholic drinks, it does not matter where you go but during ramadhan or fasting period you are not supposed to go near alcohol or any temptation.

How do you mean "haram"? Do you mean sanctuary? or forbidden? Or do you mean it as a holy site, that would be Mecca? Since it's not against the law(prohibition), and you can get arrested in one, and it's not Mecca, I would say on all counts it is not.
