Is it haram to use a user name other than your real name?

B, is this true? If so why are people using different user names?

Yes, I think having many user names- in order to hide identity- is for cowards. If one has something productive to say then he should go for it otherwise, he will be labeled as a cowardly troll which will then  be well deserved;-)
