I am harass daily to meet the daily sales of movies. It was never clear to me upon hire that I had to sale anything to meet a daily quota. Now all managers harass me to buy the movie everyday. The pay is very bad and I really do not need the stress.

How can you sell something if customers don't buy!??? What are you supposed to do? Harass the customer until he buys a bunch of movies! That is outragious, and  I would tell them so, then tell them to keep their job and shove it!

When you work in a retail outlet, selling will always be a part of your job.  It is implied, and therefore did not need to be spelled out in the hiring process.  Sales is not for everyone.  If you really hate it, think about what you might really love to do for a living.  Go see the career counselor at  your local community college.  They can give you an aptitude test to see what you think you might be good at.  Then they will set you up with a program of study.  You can probably qualify for financial aid.  In just a couple of short and fun-filled years, you'll be ready for the job market on your own terms, not on the terms of some quota-filled sales manager.  Good luck!

my husband works for a video game store and he has to make trade goal sales goal and a reserve goal as well as get subscriptions to their companys  magazine
