  1. if you help her out with the baby and stuff you and her will be able to talk and spend some time

but if she can't do anything with you don't get upset cuz it's REALLY hard to take care of a baby cuz they need attention 24/7. but enjoy it when they can't walk around or crawl!!!

  2. only children tend to get very jealous when a new baby comes into the pic but you are old enough that you shouldnt be. dont make your mom feel like she has to 'pick' the baby over you. you need to be understanding that a baby NEEDS alot of attention and you should try to help out. as a mother of two, sometimes i wish i could spend more time with my first but its hard because the baby does need so much of my time. i just try to set aside special time for us when i can and make sure to give her more hugs and stuff.

  3. yes she will have time for you. I'm a older sister i have a younger brother and sister. the only problem with that is you have to try to be a good role model because it or not they will look up 2 u

  4. of course she will!

obviously she will have to take care of the baby, but trust me, she definatly will have time for you! and before you know it, once the baby gets a little older, the baby you and your mom will all have time for eachother and all three of yous can hang :)

  5. I was 11 when my sister was born, it was a big adjusatment and very difficult for me. Try to be as helpful as you can with the new baby. It will give you a lot of time with your mom, and ou will learn a LOT! because of my doing this, and being homeschooled i put on my resume that i was a full time nanny for 8 years. People take it as job experiance.

Ask your mom if you and her can have 'dates' where the baby stays home with daddy (give it a little while after the baby is born) Go get lunch, or go shopping, go for a walk, some activity thats one on one time for you and mom.

  6. Child psychologists have determined that more than eight years between siblings is the educational and development equivalent of BOTH being an only child. So as long as there's more than 8 years between you, your experience or parental attention will not suffer detrimentally at all.

You'll also have a total blast being the Big Sis, and finally (not that you need to hear this!) the best way to stop teens getting pregnant early is to give them a little sibling to look after. It's a great 'reality check' for you and your friends :) LOL

Congrats to your family and have fun !!!!

  7. yes when the baby is older. I am a big sis but i always have to take responsibility. You will LOVE IT!

  8. She will have time for you...just try to help her out with the new baby it will be more fun then you think....I dont know your mom but from the experience of being a mom she will have enough love for the both of you.

  9. I have a little sister who is 8, at times it feels like my mom gives her alot more time than me, cause she's the baby of the family but she still makes time for me, sometimes, lol. I wouldn't worry about it just have fun! And if it feels like you never get time with her ask her if you guys can go out together for a day, I've done that before and it helped, Good Luck!
