Actually, I have heard just the opposite.  That it is easiest to become pregnant after a miscarriage or having a baby.  I miscarried about 3 months into pregnancy, pretty much was devastated after being told we most likley couldnt have babies and 5 years of trying.

You know what?  I was pregnant again just 3 months later!!!!  Carried her to full term and she is healthy and beautiful!!

If you miscarried, I am so very sorry and my thoughts are with you.  But dont give up!!!  If its meant to be, it will absolutly be in its own time!

It's very different with each woman.  My hubby and I have been trying for 3 years now.  We got pregnant in January this year, but unfortunately miscarried in March.  Its been over 4 months since and we are still not pregnant, and we tried right away, even tough my doctor told me to wait at least two cycles. If your periods are back to normal after the miscarriage and you are ovulating regularly then your chances are much higher.  I have a hormonal imbalance, and I have not been ovulating since the loss, i still have a period every month but the problem is not ovulating.  I wish you the best and a big fat positive, also I'm really sorry for your loss, I know its heartbreaking.

I had a miscarriage about 2 years ago and i haven't gotten pregnant ever since :-( everyones different though so good luck to u!

No it's not. In fact, the bleeding period after the miscarriage is much like the bleeding period after delivering a baby, while it might not be an actual period you can still get pregnant during that time. Unless there was some damage to your body, you should be able to get pregnant again whenever you're ready.

I have a history of "unexplained fertility" and have taken Clomid for both my babies.  I recently got pregnant naturally, without fertility drugs, but miscarried at 9 weeks.  That was in March.  I am now 11 weeks pregnant with No.3!  Both my Mum and sister had miscarriages and went on to get pregnant within 3 months of both carrying to full term.  Apparently you a very fertile after a miscarriage!  Good Luck!

Hi, most people say you are at your most fertile after a miscarriage.  I had a m/c in April, actually got pregnant again that same week, however this pregnancy also resulted in a missed m/c at 12wks.  Apparently after one or even 2 m/c's your chances of getting pregnant again and not miscarrying are the same as if you had never m/c before.  Good luck

Every woman's body is different.  I had a miscarriage in March, started trying to get pregnant right away and here we are in August, not pregnant yet!!  All you can do is try!
