  1. alot more than what the car is worth. better to sell it and buy one wqith 5 speed stock. saves thousands. you would need to swap the engine and transmission and labor will cost alot.

  2. you need to have another car and just swap all the parts.. you'll need the flywheel, clutch, plate, bell housing, throwout bearing, fork, cable linkage, tranny, maybe frame mount and drive shaft and that's just underneath

On top, peddles and linkage and shifter

    Reprogram your computer

and at least 10 hours of labor..

  3. A doner car, some fabrication skills, and alot of time. It's not worth it.

  4. fyi svoman is 100 percent correct on the issue

  5. Program the computer?  Swap the engine?

    Not needed.

A 1990 model AOD is not computer controlled, so not really a big concern.  There are differences, but not that big.

If you have a donor car, you are in good shape.

Go search corral.net and find some threads on how to pull this swap off.

  6. It's a fairly easy swap. The swap involves all part that SVO MAN listed. Personally i would buy an aftermarket clutch quadrant, adjustable cable and firewall adjuster like Like Steeda any many other aftermarket companies sale. I completed the swap in about a day on mine. I used the stock computer with no mods and the car ran fine. Hope this helps!
