  1. yea

    they are small

  2. yer use sand paper pearches but dont leave them in for over 2 weeks or there claws will get sanded away

  3. id take it to a vet or groomer because its really easy to mess up and not know what youre doing if youre not a professional

  4. no we do it.... you dont really need to i unless there too drastic. clipping there beaks is ok to but when necesary. only clip the clear tip of the beak.

  5. Yes it sure is.. The best thing is to let them walk round on cement or sand paper or put sand paper round their perches. I've grown up around birds and this is wat we've always done. Really hope i helped. ;-)

  6. I actually don't find it too hard... before you attempt it, you should watch someone who knows how to do it because if you don't know what to do, it is easy to hurt the bird.  What I do is have my mom restrain the bird, and then I carefully hold a foot still and use one of the small human nail clippers to cut the tips off the nails (I have budgies and a cockatiel, so their nails are small enough for that kind of clipper).  Not exactly hard, but you can't rush.  You also should have flour or cornstarch nearby to stop up any accidental bleeding (if you cut the quick, the little blood vessel that goes partway down the nail).

  7. Quite. Just hold them and gently grab hold of their "finger' and start to cut their nalis. Be careful not to cut the bood vessels.
