And exactly how hard is it. I mean has any one actually drove one before? And if it is so hard why did they let celebrities drive it on that one show they came out with like a year ago?

  1. It's very difficult and not at all like just getting in a car for a sunday drive.  (Well it is  MY kinda Sunday drive).   The celebrities weren't goin as fast and didn't use anyones real car that is used in races.

Just a show car or something similar so not to risk lawsuits.

Plus what that first person said.

  2. Try 200+ mph for 500 miles. I would think so.

  3. the cars the celebs drive are way too easy to drive. In a real race, you're battling loose/tight cars while going 200 mph, breaking, stuff like that

  4. I had the pleasure of driving a cup car around Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte. You can read the tale at this page:

    http://www.hendrixcampaign.com/fastride....

The cars are businesslike and strange at first. If you can work a clutch and 4 speed, then it's not much of a problem. At low speeds, they handle about as well as a dump truck, and feel like one. But when you get going, things smooth out and they are a real kick.

  5. Let's put it to you this way your on the freeway with 43 cars packed tight around you. Everyone is in a hurry no one wants to let you get by them and everyone is either tailgating you or cutting you off. You have no real peripheral vision and you have to trust some guy on a radio to tell you whats going on.To top this all off you are driving at speeds of 150-200mph sounds easy huh??

  6. www.bepetty.com and find out for yourself!!!

  7. it's probably not that hard to drive one or two laps, but when you go 500 mi. it gets tedious you have to have up most concentration. or you crash. there really is a lot more to it than just turning left, you have to be a fan or you wouldn't understand.

  8. You mean how hard is it to drive a stock car?

NASCAR is the name of the sport, not the cars.

  9. I drove at the Texas Motor Speedway and it wasn't bad after you started going. It was really hot in the car but when I got to 140 it cooled off real good !

  10. driving anything for 4 to 500 miles would be exhausting, but a nasacar car would be even harder. if your talkin about just cruisin around for a few laps, as long as you can drive a stick you could probaly get the hang of it.

  11. yep

    i'm with ummm-!?????????????!????
