I heard somewhere that the air force is trying to cut down in size..is that true? is it possible for a recruiter to turn down someone who wants to enlist in the air force (assuming that all necessary qualifications are met)?

  1. As long as you are physically fit, have a high school diploma or the equivalent, have a good attitude and are willing to listen and take orders and dont have some horrible criminal record there is no reason you cant get in to any branch of the service.

  2. not as hard as the coast guard. :)

  3. yes

  4. No, they are downsizing but it doesn't hurt recruits. They still are recruiting the same as they have been. Although the job you may want isn't promised. If your going to join the Air Force don't join "general" lol.

  5. I have never heard of a recruiter turning someone away who has met all qualifications to enlist. There are a few things that they would look down upon. Anything on your police record which is a cause for concern, they can turn you away is they have met their quota for the fiscal year. Otherwise, they would do anything they could to get you in. That's their job.

  6. harder than the army, navy not near as hard as the marine corps.
