Is it hard to find a job as a mammologist in zoology (canada)?

i love zoology and animals but my favorite are mammals. If i get my masters or phd in biology or zoology in university how hard do you think it would be to get a job in mammology?

One of the most difficult things to do is get a job as a professor.  Especially in science.  The only other major employer is the government.  Some consulting and engineering companies may hire a few.  It would be tough to get a job.  

I spent 20 years working at one university.  I know for sure, that only one PhD that graduated during all those years, failed to get a job in the field.  Most are working at a university.  Some in the government.  A few in private business and a few are self employed.
