Well if you are a nurse there is demand, or if you are in any other high demand field, like an oil well tech.

You just need to have skills in the right area and shazzam you are employed!

But you should look into going into school, getting retrained, or seeing how else you can grow professionally!

Educated people still fare much better than everybody else. Most educated people can find work. The stats prove it. Continue educating yourself and keep growing. That's the best way to secure your future. The days when people stayed on one job their entire lives and retired from it is about over.

haha i live in vegas. i swear it does seem that way. the economy is bad pretty much everywhere unfortunately. im in college right now, hopefully to prevent myself from the part-time job downfall. haha

It may be tough to get a job if you are unskilled, but here in Orange County, CA, we still can't find and electronic technicians or engineers with any kind of practical experience to save our lives.
